For being such a young surfer, Elijah Gates is already a well versed competitor. Having grown up in a contest singlet, Gates has already become quite the competitive smashing machine. Elijah has become lethal out at Kewalo Basin, one of his favorite breaks, and seems to always be winning events at the spot.
